THC to CBD Ratio Picker

CBD changes how a THC edible feels. Tell the picker what you want the evening to be like and it suggests a ratio and a starting dose, then works out how much of each infusion the batch needs.

Ratios describe how an edible tends to feel, not a medical effect. CBD softens THC for many people and does nothing for some. Start low, go slow, and keep a note.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best THC to CBD ratio for edibles?

It depends on the evening you want. CBD-dominant ratios such as 20:1 feel settled rather than high and suit first-timers and daytime. A 1:1 is the classic smoothed edible. THC-forward ratios like 1:4 are for experienced users in the evening. The picker suggests a ratio and a starting dose from those two answers.

Does CBD reduce the effects of THC?

For many people it rounds off the sharp edges: less anxiety, less racing, a softer landing. It does not cancel THC, and some people notice no difference at all. Treat it as a texture adjustment rather than an antidote.

How do I make a 1:1 edible at home?

Make or buy two infusions, one THC-forward and one CBD-forward, know the milligrams per tablespoon of each, and blend them so the batch carries equal milligrams of both. The picker does the algebra, including any CBD hiding in your THC oil and vice versa.

Can I just use high-CBD flower in my infusion?

Yes, and it is the simplest route to a CBD-dominant edible. Decarb and infuse it exactly like THC flower. Balanced or THC-forward ratios are easier to hit by blending two oils, because you can adjust each one independently.
