Terms of Use
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Canabee website at canabee.ca (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Informational content only
Everything on Canabee, including articles, guides, recipes, and tools, is provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this Site constitutes medical, health, legal, or other professional advice, and nothing here is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read on Canabee.
Calculator results are estimates
Our dosage and infusion calculators produce estimates based on the values you enter. Actual potency varies with many factors including plant genetics, decarboxylation completeness, infusion conditions, and individual metabolism. Results should not be treated as precise measurements, and they are not medical or dosing advice. Always start low and go slow.
Assumption of risk
Cooking with and consuming cannabis carries inherent risks, and the effects of edibles in particular can be delayed, strong, and long-lasting. You acknowledge these risks and agree that you use the Site, its tools, and any information, guides, or recipes entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for your own choices and for the safety of anyone you share food with.
No warranties
The Site and all of its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information, calculation, or recipe is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Canabee and its owners, operators, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss or harm of any kind, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, its tools, or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Canabee and its owners, operators, and contributors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these terms or any applicable law.
Intellectual property
The original content on this Site, including our guides, original recipes, calculators, branding, and design, is owned by Canabee and protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and use it for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, or redistribute it without our written permission.
Third-party links and products
The Site contains links to third-party websites and products, including affiliate links from which we may earn a commission (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, products, or services, and a link does not imply endorsement. Any dealings you have with third parties are solely between you and them.
Your responsibility and local law
Cannabis laws vary by country, province, state, and locality. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your activities comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. Canabee does not sell cannabis and does not encourage or condone any activity that is unlawful in your region.
Age requirement
This Site is intended only for adults who are 21 years of age or older, or the minimum legal age for cannabis in their region, whichever is higher. By using Canabee you confirm that you meet that requirement.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that province for any dispute arising from these terms or the Site, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Canabee after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
